- 4 FULL LENGTH SIZES: For general-purpose broad filing. Long 8in/200mm machinist’s files plus 4in/102mm chunky rubber-grip handles with hanging holes. The Flat, Half-Round and Triangle files have a double-cut tooth pattern, whilst the Round file is a single-cut. Coarseness is from bastard to second-cut and have teeth cut along the edges
- 12 NEEDLE FILE KIT: For fine detail work. Smaller 4.25in/105mm files plus 2in/51mm slim handles. Find Square, Round, Flat, Joint, Slitting and Equalling shapes with tapered ends, double cut patterns and coarseness from smooth-cut to second-cut. NB. Some files also feature blank/un-milled safe edges and faces
- MATERIAL HARDNESS: The heat-treated T12 and 82B Spring Steel High-Carbon steel alloys give high-wear resistance and hardness with low ductility. A light touch of machine oil is used to preserve their surface finish. The tough PP thermoplastic handles have a non-slip TPR rubberised coating
