- HSS COBALT high speed steel with titanium (TiN) coating – high hardness and the titanium coating gives this tool better wear and heat resistance making it a more durable long lasting threading tap
- For tapping holes in hard metals, stainless steel, special acid resistant steels, CR-NI, aluminium, aluminum plate, iron, ABs, perspex etc
- Spiral point taps – great for tapping through holes. Also these taps have a self centering point which eliminates the need to pre-centre drill the hole. Can be used for cutting new threads and repairing damaged threads
- These can be used in a machine or by hand
